 je viens en plus d'installer le jeu sur un autre ordi (hélas pas dans la maison) et il fonctionne très bien, ca ne vient donc pas du cd en lui meme non plus. je viens aussi de tenter la uninstall/reinstall et c'est exactement la meme chose (je précise que les deux fois, l'installation s'est déroulée sans aucun problème) bouuuh

Et EU3 est il le seul jeu qui fait cet effet ?
Essaye de voire si d'autres applications gourmandes produisent aussi des reboots. Si c'est le cas, c'est ton ordi qui est à mettre en cause, soit parce que la configuration est instable, soit parce que c'est un problème materiel... Sinon, je ne sais pas trop... Les menus et l'affichage de la carte quand tu choisi ton pays s'affichent normalement ? Essaye de voire à quel moment du chargement ton ordi redémarre, c'est peut être une opération particulière effectuée pendant le chargement qui en est la cause... Enfin, essaye de lancer le jeu sur un ordi fraichement redémarré, avec un disque dur sain et pas trop d'applications qui tournent... Désolé, c'est vague mais c'est assez curieux comme problème...

Moi le jeu me réclamme Pixelshalder 2 et ne veut pas démarrer sans, or il parait que ce n'est pas un programme, mais que c'est lié à la carte graphique et que ma carte graphique ne l'aurait pas, donc je peux pas jouer

En fait, j'ai posté sur le forum technique para mon problème et ils m'ont répondus. Mais je ne comprends pas bien comment fonctionne le programme qu'ils veulent que j'essaie. J'ai essayé de le downloader c'est le bordel ca fonctionne pas

The installation was perfect. After that, i rebooted and then i started the game. Video introduction ok. I choosed my country, my date ok. Then i launch the game. At the beginning it is ok but during "History adaptation" my computer suddenly reboots  i've tried to reboot, to uninstall and reinstall EU3 and it is exactly the same. i've tried too to change the resolution of the games and i switched off all the graphics details to be sure that they weren't the problem. For sure, it is exactly the same. i give you my computer configuration: PC Windows XP Family Edition (with SP2). 2400mhz and 512 mo RAM Graphic card: Nvidia Gefore FX 5200 128mo (it supports Pixelshader 2.0). it have 20 giga of free space disk.... i absolutely do not understand why this game doesn't work! please help me! edit: i have direct_x 9.0. An another interesting thing: when my computer has rebooted, it tells me that windows has recovered of a serious problem and there are explanations of this problem: "BCCode : 1000008e BCP1 : C0000005 BCP2 : BFA10EDC BCP3 : B3E86B20 BCP4 : 00000000 OSVer : 5_1_2600 SP : 2_0 Product : 768_1 " " Il me demande de mettre sur le forum mon Dxdiag et mon error.log Error.log est vide et ils ne trouvent rien d'anormal dans le dxdiag.
