Act 1

Sol System, your home ever since the crash when you were little, has always been protected by the United World Council (UWC). Sol System prospered during this era: expanding greatly in the areas of commerce and space exploration. Sadly, the UWC collapsed overnight. Its collapse was both bizarre and unexplained. The result of the UWC’s fall was to plunge the entire Galaxy into a brutal power struggle, as many planetary governments fought for power. Sol System, like many other populated star systems, has had at least ten “successful” revolutions -- and many other attempted revolutions that ended in front of laser firing squads in the past half century.

Horrified by all the senseless deaths resulting from this power struggle, you set forth to try and end this chaos by bringing order -- your own order into play. Allucard, your most trusted and treasured childhood friend, swiftly joins your cause, and together you envision an end of the death and destruction by restoration of peace to Sol System. Like brothers in arms, you and Allucard march from house to house seeking funds and followers to end this squabble for power in your adoptive home star system. Although hard at first, you soon have many able men, women, and children following you and Allucard. You and Allucard have paved a way for peace, security, and prosperity for all inhabitants of Sol System.

Although it took some time (four blood soaked and tear-filled years to be exact) you and your followers finally ended the power struggle and brought about the new era of harmony in Sol System. It was no mean feat and in appreciation of your hard work, unmatched dedication, and great personal risk, the other leaders of your revolution agree that you should be Supreme Leader.

As Supreme Leader, you have the power and the resources to restore political and economic stability to Sol System. Your good friend, Allucard has been appointed as General to manage Sol System’s military (for the peace of Sol shall be protected at all cost). You wholeheartedly support Allucard’s appointment as General. You and your friend, the now General Allucard, sit down together watching the stars above and start planning how to bring the Sol system back to its rightful position among the stars.......

La première mission
Background

With years of power struggle and unrest, Sol System is in shambles. Large amounts of resources are needed to rectify this situation and return Sol to its former glory. First of all, your good friend, Gen. Allucard, has advised you to add to the existing commerce to ensure income for your new government.

There are 2 different types of monetary incomes:
1. Personal taxes paid by each citizen every turn
2. Commerce taxes which are taxes paid by businesses on their income

Terrans, capitalistic by nature, have always been masters of commerce; therefore, Terran empires should always put most of their planets into commercial production since Commerce is the Terrans’ strongest profession. Knowing this, you decide to increase the number of your planets assigned to Commerce.

Be careful not to build too many Commerce units at the beginning. Each building you build requires 100 credits. On the first move you may be able to build 500 Commerce units, but 450 will complete this mission.

Objective

You are required to assign planets to commercial duties.
Obtain Commerce income of $ 2,000 per turn.

Step by Step guide

Go to Manage Empire > Economy > Manage Planets
Click on Assign Planets and type 450 units in Commercial and click the `Assign Duties` button almost directly under number box where you will type the number of buildings.

Your Commerce income will have increased after this. You can observe your commerce income by looking at the Income area in Manage Planets.

Tip

Free Planets are planets which have not been assigned.
Each unit of commercial production earns $4 credits in commercial tax income. To find out on income details, click on Details button (in grey) next to Income in the screen where you assigned planets.

Serveur 3
Fréquence de jeu: un jour

Reborn 21/08/2006 16h24
