This last week, the team have been working hard, and the progress have been rather impressive. Our interface team have been busy with the religion interface screen, as well as the government interface screen. The artists have now finished all uniforms for the western technology groups uniforms for all eras. We elected to go with a slightly idealised colorscheme, while keeping accurate uniform types, for each nation, as uniform-colors were not really used in the early centuries of this era. So dutch troops will see orange colors, while swedes are blue and yellow colors. You can see several of these in the concept arts we released earlier. We’ve continued developing on the map, and the looks are far from finalised as we continue to improve it. We also selected 50 betatesters from an enormous amount of applicants for our first group of testers.
This coming week, we will lose a few days to the holidays, but we’ll be continue working on the combat-engine, with a current focus on the siege warfare.

In Eu3 we have combined the budget summary and the financial decisions to the same screen, to make it easier and more natural for the gamer. As you may have noticed earlier, and that this screenshot makes rather clear, we now have a new technology type called government-tech. This interface is not finished yet, and is in an alpha state at the moment. If you look to the map in this screenshot, you may notice some changes in the map layout compared to Eu2.
(Due to the holidays, there will not be any dev diary update next week.)
